Direct IT teams that provide production,enhancement and project support for Retail, Retirement and Private Placement business lines in the Investment Products Division. Manage $1 million production budget and vendor relationships;negotiate cost-effective agreements. Concurrently established and served in a unique capacity as Output Strategy Portfolio Manager of a multi-year program, owning 15+ distinct projects, 8 ($3.5 million) of which are in progress and slated for delivery in 2007. Often tapped by other matrix teams to provide support and development assistance. Effectively utilize multiple remote resourcing vendors to supplement project and production support as needed. Secured a $6.5 million dollar infrastructure budget to address various HW/SW upgrade efforts, DB migrations, and application component end of life needs. Established a process for the creation of monthly and quarterly IT Operational Metrics and SLA measurement dashboards.Pulled together a cross business and technology team to analyze incoming technology work requests and to make recommendations on how to reduce volumes. The analysis indicated nearly 80% of incoming technology work requests were non technological in nature which led to Self Service initiatives resulting in a 30% reduction of incoming non technology work requests.Implemented CAST, a code quality measurement tool to establish a repeatable process to measure and improve application software quality as a best practice in the SDLC process.Rapidly built a production support team to take operational ownership of a $40 million dollar Pega workflow application development program. While managing a $3 million production budget, built a core team consisting of multi-sourced vendors with both an onshore and offshore presence saving the company $500,000.Established a Pega Center of Excellence for Prudential’s Retirement Technology division. The Center of Excellence (COE) was established to serve as a documented body of knowledge of best practices, methodology and reusable assets to quickly and effectively deploy Business Process Management.
