    • Chattback

      Oct 2012 - Dec 2012
Community management & public relations intern

Chattback is a text-based service that allows customers to text their compliments, complaints and suggestions anonymously to a business that subscribes to the service. The business can either reply to the message, or set an auto-reply to let the customer know they have received their feedback and to provide links to social media or promotions. Interning with ChattBack was my first step into public relations and the tech-based world. I joined the team in October 2012 for one month and was asked to extend my internship as a paid apprentice. My day-to-day schedule included social media management (which increased traffic and engagement), creating blog posts, press releases, as well as creating ChattBack’s Tumblr account and developing it from scratch. I also created an in-depth social calendar that ranged from current and potential customers’ events to large conferences. I owe much of my career to the foundation I developed as a professional at ChattBack. Show less
