  •Ensures all emergency standby operations and fault resolution work adheres to established safety and quality guidelines•Manages all matters related to emergency standby operations and inspections, analysis and resolution of distribution network faults•Manages and guides the standby office jobs, fire/shock cases, MV tripping, patrolling of overhead lines, newly commissioned substations, shutdown cards distribution etc.•Assists in the articulation and execution of strategies aimed at providing continuous supply of electricity to customers, through effective switching operations in electricity distribution network.•Carries out field operations and activities are executed in compliance with relevant Safety Rules, Kahramaa Health and Safety Environment Regulations and Standards Code of Practice.•Attends emergencies related to electricity distribution networks, takes necessary actions to isolate faulty sections and provides solutions in restoring supply of electricity to customers through back feeding or mobile diesel generator.•Coordinates with Engineers, in matters related to voltage regulation and control, adjusts taps on distribution transformers, as and when required & also transformers Oil Top-Up with performing BDV tests (Breakdown Voltage Tests).•Issues Permit to Work (PTW), Sanction For Tests (SFT), Circuit Isolation And Earthing Certificates (CIEC), Limitation of Access (LOA) and other permits required for working / testing high voltage equipment.•Liaises with Engineer – System Control and ensures effective switching operations.•Carries out switching operations up to and including 11kV & 33kV at Primary and Secondary Substations as per System Control Engineer request.•Reports any abnormalities noticed at site to Engineer – System Control.•Supervises field technicians and Operation Technical Assistants in coordinating with related Sections. عرض أقل
