      ...Compassion Network is a diverse movement of local congregations, youth, entrepreneurs, artists, people of faith, skilled professionals, and every day people, united in Jesus who are wiling to serve the disadvantaged in our society through compassionate action. I am responsible for the strategic end of things, staffing, community relations, sustainability, and all the office management aspects of the organization. We are located within the government building partnering with over 25 social service agencies. I meet quarterly with tri-city officials on the Executive Team to determine ways to transform our three cities. I also travel to other cities for consulting and teaching workshops. Show less

As steering leaders we collaborate periodically to ensure serving our clients in a well-rounded manner. Although we represent seperate agencies we work hard to compliment each others services in hopes to serve families and individuals in our community well.

      Make a Difference Day Fremont Project Leader Newman's Own, Make A Difference Day, USA Weekend, Points of Light Apr 2013 Fremont won the National City Award for Make a Difference Day. The Fremont Human Relations Commission Sponsored the event and Christine was the project leader managing 76 service projects and over 1400 volunteers in one day. 11 schools were beautified, many seniors served, single mom's received free oil changes, a shoe closet was started and many parks were spruced up.
