      Oxfam, Cox’s Bazar Department: WaSH Duties/Responsibilities:"Rohingya Humanitarian Crisis Response on Water and Sanitation in Bangladesh (WaSH)"As a Public Health Officer with Oxfam in Cox's Bazar, I successfully implemented the "Rohingya Humanitarian Crisis Response on Water and Sanitation in Bangladesh (WaSH)" program in the Rohingya camps and host community schools. My responsibilities included managing daily activities and goals, monitoring the field and coaching associates, and designing interventions for specific activities in the camps and schools. I was also responsible for monitoring disease trends, designing interventions for special needs, and following set emergency response processes for NFI assistance.To improve the Oxfam approach to WASH, I ensured context understanding related to community dynamics and health risks through community consultations and needs assessments. I documented and shared lessons learned and successes/failures, and coordinated with MEAL, protection, and gender colleagues to ensure activities reflected the needs of stakeholders and individuals.As a coordination and representation expert, I supervised and coordinated teams, provided joint technical leadership and coordination with other colleagues, and established networks with different stakeholders, particularly GoB officials. I also liaised with primary education offices to improve WASH facilities in schools and influenced local-level decision-makers, and coordinated with government authorities, community structures, and NGOs.
