As a senior team member, my responsibilities included:- Leading workshops that cover different topics such as the UN sustainable development goals and positive growth mindsets for students in years 7 to 12 and their first year of university.- Assisted in organising on-campus events, completing administrative tasks, developing workshop content, and training new staff members.- Due to the range of different workshops, locations, and attendees, senior mentors were required to adapt and come up with creative solutions to issues that were faced.   Project Coordinator

  Unleash Your Leadership was a youth-led project focused on building the confidence, leadership, and influence of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. I worked with partners to secure funding for the project through the Queensland Government Thriving Cohesive Communities grant. The Project delivered a series of workshops and dialogue sessions that focused on building knowledge and system advocacy skills within the youth.   As the events coordinator for GUEASS, I was responsible for organising events with the goal of improving the employability, well-being and university experience of Engineering students.   I completed a 4 month placement with CEIT working on my Industry Affiliated Project (IAP) while onan international exchange to Spain. The project focused on developing FEA models and simulationsusing Ansys Motor-CAD and Ansys Fluent to investigate the effects of using different configurationsof oil cooling ducts to improve the cooling performance and the overall power density of anelectrical machine.
