  Universal Credit Customer Service Advisor

  In this role I handled a range of different calls to help with customer queries and resolve any issues with their account.I have gained a wider knowledge base of Universal Credit and other alternatives that are available to help those in need.Many changes to systems and policies were introduced during my time with the DWP, which I quickly adapted to, being described as low maintenance and a high achiever by my manager.

  The main project I completed for the WBL team was data collation and analysis of student's evaluations, of which the purpose was to identify any causes for concern in placement areas and identify examples of good practice. I presented my findings and recommendations in a report and verbally to the team.As an intern I also experienced a variety of roles to assist with the teams administrative responsibilities, as well as providing project support. Tasks included: Assisting with and promoting drop-in sessions for students; Assisting with pre-placement sessions for the Nursing students; Setting up meetings and taking minutes; Adding educators (NHS clinicians who support students in practice) to the Moodle page, informing them of their login details, creating and sending their certificates at the end of their training, and collating their feedback about the course for common themes; Checking students compliance for their mandatory training; Event planning for a Learner Conference the team will be attending, including securing merchandise and informational flyers from other university teams; Assisting a WBL tutor with their phased return to work, including attending Partnership & Networking Events to recruit organisations to use for Psychology students' placements.
