  HIGHLIGHT◆ Enhanced 50% welding productivity of LPG tanker and 20% impact property (at -50℃) of welding joints by developing new process of single power source twin-wire SAW.◆ Successfully solve the welding cracks problem and increased product percent of pass of commercial vehicle dampers from lower than 96% to higher than 99% by using 6-sigma methods.◆ Successfully Administered the WIC test by designing welding process, specifying procedures, and training welders, which not only resulted in X70 pipe steel of Baosteel to be accepted by TransCanada, but also helped Baosteel become the forth company in the world who can finish the test individually.◆ Successfully developed 800 ~ 900MPa series GMAW welding consumables, which have lower cost ( 50%~60% ) but better performance than existing product in China market.◆ Developed a new evaluation method for the hot cracking susceptibility of Quenching and Partitioning (Q&P) steel based on thermal-mechanical simulation (Gleeble 3500 system) and SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis.◆ Drafted welding technology manuals for high-strength steel , low-temperature vessel steel, wear-resistant steel,etc.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES◆ Designed, developed and evaluated the feasibility of industrialization of new welding process.◆ Designed welding fixtures and superintended manufacturers to fabricate them.◆ Improved quality of welding production.◆ Developed welding consumables(GMAW, GTAW, SAW, etc) for new types of steel products.◆ Worked as liasion between materials supplier(Baosteel) and customs(maunfacturers), provided technical support and customs service.◆ Supported marketing and sales department for steel production promotion.◆ Projects management.(marketing investigation, group establishment, project operation and maintenance, project conclusion.) Show less HIGHLIGHT◆ Increased efficiency of bending tests of BWELDY960, BS900D, BS960E joints to higher than 90% by inducing new approach of bending test.◆ Drafted up over 100 analysis reports of weldability of steel products and welding technical documents(pWPS, PQR, WPS, etc) for customs according to different welding codes and standards without a turnovers.◆ Reduced 50% of HAZ soften of BS960 joint by optimizing chemical composition.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES◆ Design and applied test methods to evaluate weldability of steel products.◆ Planed and scheduled welding process test, drafted up technical documents (pWPS, PQR, WPS, etc) according to industrial standards, codes and customs’ requirements.◆ Conducted destructive tests(tensile test, bend test, impact test, CTOD, fatigue test, etc).◆ Cooperated with non-destructive test(NDT) technicians to inspect welding joints.◆ Identified welding defects, analysed reason of failures, and wrote analysis reports.◆ Trained welders and superintended qualification test of welders.
