      Catering Assistant

      Worked as a catering assistant on evenings and weekends during my time at Sixth Form, working in a team of 20 people. Main duties included: serving customers food, working industrial kitchen machinery and basic food prep.I greatly enjoyed my time working in this position and it was a great introduction into the working world. The main skills I developed included: team work, communication and time management.

      Mar 2014 - now

      I covered this position whilst a colleague was on maternity leave. This involved managing and organising the main Sunday service at the church. I was responsible for: creating rotas for 6 teams; planning the order of running of the service; preparing the hall for the service; and ensuring smooth running of the service. I was also responsible for writing and preparing the kids programme for the preschool class. This was a fantastic opportunity which improved my leadership, communication and problem solving skills.       Work Experience

      Gained work experience in Sheffield's Children's Hospital. This involved a 4 day placement, with each day being in a different department in the hospital: Wards, Radiology, Theatre & Orthoptics. I greatly enjoyed my experience at the hospital, and it was interesting to gain more knowledge of the different areas in medical science.

      Social Media Manager

      Social media management for businesses in the UK and internationally. Main duties include: creating weekly content plans with relevant content for each business and scheduling posts via Hootsuite.During university term time I manage 8 social media accounts a week, but have the opportunity to take on extra accounts during university holidays. For example, in summer 2016 I managed up to 20 social media accounts a week. This position has been a fantastic opportunity to improve my IT skills, as all the work is conducted on a computer, and writing skills as this is required to write the posts. Show less
