      Participated in the Service Learning Program for the Spring Semester of 2015. Engaged in study through immersion in a part-time community internship, collaborating with local artisans through their business (Arte a Mano). Through guided studies I was able to conduct research surrounding their economic pursuits, using social research methodology, and facilitate the creation of a tangible project focused on social media education and awareness.

      Assisted local artisans in developing their products and providing marketing strategies to continue their economic growth and stimulate community engagement. Also conducted research surrounding the organization's economic success in the Santiago community. As a part of my internship responsibilities, I organized weekly community meetings and scheduled times for the artisans to sell their products at regional markets.
