  Initially worked as a Provisions Assistant which involved counting stock and creating data which would be used to control items going out of date plus recording wasted products. This provided a good grounding in the need to work accurately and methodically. Then worked on the provisions counter (reducing items for fast sale) and on the deli (preparing and serving fresh provisions items). Customer service was a major feature of these jobs which were very rewarding and provided an excellent background for gaining good skills in dealing with customers. Show less

  Responsible for the recovery of crown debt from companies and individuals via written and verbal communications. The work includes maintaining the computer data base to record the contact history with customers and their specific tax information which is by nature highly confidential. The recovery of debt, especially from individuals, requires a professional and firm approach tempered with considerable tact and diplomacy. This is an excellent environment in which to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills. Show less

  Technical house and home manager!

  Currently taking time away from paid employment to provide our home with a better environment for change. So far I have accomplished - new glasses. Stripped all the internal doors and refitted there fixtures, cleaned the loft, organised physio and ordered tailor made orthotics, seeds sown garden tidy, moved concrete and created a stone path, taken down a ceiling (plastic and battons to the tip), been to a Ball, helped out my cousin with her lovely family, spent time with my mum.
