      Most of my courses dealt with exercise physiology and program designing. However, I had two classes that made a big impact on me as a professional. I had a Business and Entrepreneurship in the Fitness Industry course that helped me see the business side of my profession. I also had a Leadership and Professional Development course that really helped me when I moved into a management position.

      I mentor young women through the sport of soccer. I am responsible for developing and implementing effective training sessions and events for the team. I also communicate with staff, parents, administration, and the media.

      I meet with new members and generate my own leads to keep my book full of potential clients. When someone meets with me, I dive deep into their "why beneath their why". I find out their true reason for walking into the health club, and then decide which program is best for them. I do a lot of work with clients that have special needs. I have worked with clients that have fibromyalgia, joint replacements, diabetes, HBP, MS, paralysis, anxiety/depression, eating disorders, and many others.
