Conducts inspections to ensure conformance with OSHA standards or in response to a complaint or accident; trains employees on safety rules; takes preventive actions to promote a safe working environment. Decreased manning shortfall by 15% that resulted in the squadron exceeding requirements for every major inspection. Coordinated with Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Pacific and Chief of Naval Personnel to structure billets, determine Navy Enlisted Classification code distribution, fund and man 353 billets that now constitute HSC-85. These significant efforts ensured all deployment and readiness requirements were met, despite a 33% manpower reduction and a 40% reduction in aircraft allocation. • Effectively developed and implemented an aggressive and robust training plan with Naval Personnel Command and Naval Aviation Technical Unit to attain required schools and increase manning fit by 74% to meet mandated timeline.
