  I am an undergraduate researcher within the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. The research I am involved in is focused on analyzing stream bank erosion and sediment transport within the Dan River and Roanoke River watersheds. The work I assist with involves sediment analysis in the laboratory, velocity and flow analysis, stream bank erosion monitoring, cross section surveying, flood plain analysis, sediment sample collection, and data collection.
