      I have mentored 120 students across 3 different cohorts, assisted in teaching geological surface processes of the Grand Canyon for 1 week in 2018 and 2019, and led Energy Day for the Southwest Texas 12th grade virtual cohort in 2021. I remain an active alumni by being a counselor on summer trips, mentoring students, and attending yearly events.

      Better constrained the transition from contraction to extension in the Basin and Range, specifically the Ruby Mountains – East Humboldt Range - Wood Hills metamorphic core complex in northeastern Nevada, by using low temperature apatite, zircon, and titanite (U-Th)/He thermochronology in upper crustal rocks. • Provided guidance and mentorship to 20 freshman students in a geology seminar course by hosting weekly office hours. • Assisted the professor in preparing demos and hands-on activities. Maximized space in the rock shop of the Thermochronology lab by reorganizing and inventorying unclaimed rock samples and lab instruments. • Maintained stockroom, organized incoming apparel, and restocked all parts of the store.• Eased customers’ shopping experience by helping them locate desired items.
