    • Green Mountain Energy Company

      Jun 2017 - Nov 2017
      Renewable Energy Field Sales Agent

Green Mountain Energy Company is the nation's longest serving retail provider of cleaner electricity.Worked independently and in team settings in the form of various sales styles between door to door conversations in the courtesy knock program, or tabling at storefronts, festivals, street fairs, farmers markets, and concerts. Discussed with PGE customers the difference between the basic service (>50% distant fossil fuels), and the local renewable energy plan (100% local renewables) - by making people aware of the fact that they have a choice to make a difference with their electricity bill based on the option they choose. In Oregon we have partnered with PGE to offer customers 100% renewable electricity at only a small rate increase (Basic Service is 10¢/kWh; Green Source is 10.8¢/kWh) than the basic electricity service, derived exclusively from cleaner sources such as wind, geothermal, biomass, solar power, and hydroelectric. The National Average electricity cost in the US is 12¢/kWh. Show less
