  This job provided me with experience in organising filing systems and cataloguing academic papers. I was also responsible for creating document templates and assisting in various other administrative duties. In this position, I was responsible for assisting a small group of up to 15 students with their academic concerns. We had a session once a week in which I answer any questions they had about the work and did a review of the work they did for that week's class.

  I am in charge of facilitating tutorial sessions for first-year economics students. In these sessions, I aim to help my students to obtain a greater understanding of the tutorial work they have been given. I work through the tutorial with them and encourage student participation and group work in order to create a productive and positive learning environment. I was involved with the English to Afrikaans translations of economic learning material. The position involves assisting with research and data collection, as well as various departmental administrative duties.
