Managed projects and carried out practical work on welding of polymers, including laser welding. Wrote proposals to customers (including estimating project value), which resulted in project win. Assisted in the delivery of a European project on laser welding of textiles. Managed projects on micro laser welding of metals, resistance welding and percussive arc welding. Assisted in the delivery of a European project on laser welding of textiles. Took part in writing a European collaborative proposal on the subject of direct metal deposition for rapid manufacturing, which brought over £200k to the Section.

  Project Manager for several production projects of composite parts for aircrafts, involving leading multi-disciplinary teams to complete the manufacturing of composite parts. Also leading the implementation of MS Project Server for two sites. Project Manager for several new product introduction projects of aircraft sealing products, involving leading multi-disciplinary teams to complete the design, manufacturing and qualification of seals. Projects included re-design of over 100 seals for a military aircraft and design and fire testing of engine seals. Project Engineer for several new product introduction projects, which involved leading the design and stress activities (both internal and off-shore) related to design and qualification of rubber seals and liaising with other functions within the company to ensure smooth manufacturing start-up.

  As a Project Manager, I deliver government-funded R&D projects across different industries, working with various partners to manage budgets, timelines, and risks. I also support Project Management Degree Apprentices through 1-to-1 mentoring, planning their rotations, and helping them meet their goals. My role focuses on driving projects forward while helping new project managers grow.
