  The University of Central Asia (UCA) was founded in 2000. It operates in three countries of Central Asia (Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan). UCA was established to offer an internationally recognized standard of higher education in Central Asia and prepare graduates to contribute leadership, ideas and innovation to the economies and communities of the region. As Controller Finance at UCA, I supervised, managed and maintained the finance functions of the institution, including audit and compliance as well as special projects on a University-wide basis, development and set up of systems and processes - particularly the financial information system, management of insurance contracts, coordination with administration, HR and IT on the specific tasks/projects. Prepared financial statements and external reports as well as oversaw the statutory reporting, compliance, evaluation, improvements of the processes and financial policies.
