May 2013 - Mar 2016Oversaw Led planning for 1,500 combat sorties, which enabled the transport of 1,500 tons of time sensitive cargo and 800 passengers with over a 99 percent mission effectiveness rate. Served as Tactics Officer in the 317th Operations Support Squadron for the development and maintenance of safety surveys for drop zones and landing zones in 12 states. Conducted detailed analysis to check and verify each zone met acceptable safety levels for landing, low altitude flying, and object/personnel landing. Liaised with FAA to deconflict airspace, enabling aircraft to operate within the airspace in any weather conditions. Project managed the Dynamic Re-tasking Capabilities program to enable aircraft to communicate through satellite connections, including delivering training to 62 aircrew members in operations of aircraft and ground station systems.
