  Infrastructure Standards Manager

  Manage the timely delivery and successful implementation of infrastructure related regulations (Euro Norms, UIC, AREMA, ISO) technical specifications and procedures. Determine, design, develop and publish inspection, maintenance standards for all civil infrastructure i.e. track, bridges, command & control systems, power supplies, facilities & buildings. Develop and establish maintenance staff competency standards and ensure these are met by infrastructure maintenance staff. Provide technical guidance and support on all safety matters to infrastructure personnel, including special training on “Personal Track Safety” and “Person in Charge & Possession Supervisor duties”. Carry out safety tours and regular audits of production and maintenance workshops including working conditions of the staff. Create and deliver annual safety improvement plans based on analysis of the Operations Company risk profile incorporating development of Operations’ safety culture. Development of legally required databases and production of safety performance reports. Make sure all infrastructure related accidents are investigated for identifying root cause and developing, communicating and monitoring implementation of effective rectification actions and are closed within one month of occurrence. To comply with those elements of the Company environment, health and safety management system and other documents where specific responsibility is identified with the role or as a general requirement on all employees. Provide technical guidance and support on all safety related matters to the Infrastructure Director and represent Company on formal accident investigation panels. Carry out safety, quality and environmental audits at the frequency set out in the Company audit manual and as directed by the HSEQ & Standards Director.
