Another role I took on was being a key member of the Asset Management team, which serviced over $2.5 Billion in mortgage financing on behalf of institutional lenders.       Managed operations of a private real estate portfolio in excess of $300MM. During my time as Asset Manager one of my primary objectives was to take the lead on a re-positioning of a 86,000 square foot office building located in downtown Salt Lake City. As part of the re-positioning I implemented and oversaw a $1.5MM renovation of the entire building as well as drafted, negotiated, and signed new lease agreements generating over $9MM in rental income for the property.Both of these extensive projects resulted in improving occupancy from 65% to 99% over the period of two years. Another significant project I worked on was advising on a $1.6MM redevelopment of a Bed & Breakfast in Jackson, Wyoming (Huff House Inn & Cabins).The result of this redevelopment was increasing annualized returns from 1% to 9%.I had an active voice in the decision making process of the entire project and participated in the overall design and finishes of the property. Overall, I took the lead as point person for all lease agreements, capital improvement projects, as well as any tenant/landlord correspondence for 20 commercial properties and multiple private residences. This program ran in conjunction with the "Influence" Leadership Development Program and was designed to help employees initiate, foster, and benefit from a mentor relationship.
