  Founded Golden City Football Club, a community football club and youth academy, in the heart of Ormonde, Johannesburg. The club's training grounds and home pitch were situated at Nova Pioneer Ormonde's soccer fields, which offered a picturesque view of the iconic Soccer City (FNB Stadium). Club had a men's first-team which competed in the Mayfair Local Football Association First Division which achieved a cup final and a mid-table finish in the 2022/2023 season. Together with the Head of Academy, developed and implemented a unique U9-U12 academy model that counted 60+ registered players and oversaw mid-table LFA youth league finishes in the first year. Negotiated the sale of 20% of the Club's share equity to a minority investor which valued the Club at over $7 000 within 6 months of the Club's establishment.   Jabu Mtwa was selected as an IOC Young Leader 2023-2026 by the International Olympic Committee, as part of the IOC Young Leaders Programme. The IOC Young Leaders Programme is a four-year programme which seeks to help young leaders develop a social business that provides a localised sport-based solution to a pressing challenge in their respective community. Coming from 25 different countries and covering 5 continents, the new generation of leaders have begun their social entrepreneurism and leadership journeys through monthly learning modules and leadership opportunities. The IOC Young Leaders Programme is owned and funded by the International Olympic Committee, with the support of Panasonic as the programme’s Founding Partner and Yunus Sports Hub as the programme’s operational delivery provider.
