      As part of the International Office at Hiroshima University, I coordinated Japanese–English translation and proofreading for official documents, including communications with embassies and local government. I organised and hosted visits by foreign ambassadors and international university presidents, managing everything from initial liaison to on-site event logistics. In addition, I planned and supported international events and exchange programmes, such as speech contests and collaborative projects with partner universities abroad.       Promoted to lead Fresh Futures’ volunteer and community outreach strategy across the Kirklees region, supporting a network of over 150 volunteers. I managed end-to-end volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and retention, developed and delivered training across diverse service areas, and built partnerships with local businesses and third-sector organisations to widen outreach. In addition to volunteer management, I oversaw social media channels and created digital and print materials using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, which increased online engagement by over 40%. I also organised community events, thank-you gatherings, and service showcases to strengthen connections between volunteers and the wider community. Show less In this role, I coordinated recruitment, training, and day-to-day support for a network of 150+ volunteers. I delivered onboarding and safeguarding training both online and in person, represented Fresh Futures at community events and job fairs, and built partnerships with local organisations to create new volunteering opportunities. I also launched new initiatives, such as career guidance sessions, and championed inclusivity by introducing accessible onboarding processes and undertaking BSL training to better support volunteers.
