  As a ropes course instructor and operator, I conducted program management and assisted individuals (both campers and aspiring ropes course instructors) to reach their goals. I was responsible for training all volunteer staff, and was ultimately responsible for the safety of my participants. This position often had many changing environments, and resulted in the need for me to fulfill a wide range of roles with the camp over my three years there. While serving as the EMT Intern, I partnered with a BSN to oversee the medical program for a 700+ person camp in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I was exposed to a wide range of scenarios and environments, both minor and severe. We were also responsible for training new volunteer medical staff each week, and maintaining an organized system for healthcare related documents and medication distribution.

  While serving as an EMT-Basic at the Carrier Dome I provided medical care to our patrons during events. I also assisted higher-level medical professionals ranging from paramedics to trauma surgeons. The medical team here helped me advance my levels of medical knowledge as well as learn the importance of a well thought out, and expedited responses in regards to customer service.

  During my time working for the Bradford IRA within Liberty Resources, I worked with five gentlemen within the developmental disability population. I gave direct client support and advocated for my clients within our community, and it was my goal to make sure they had access to any opportunity they wanted to pursue.

  I oversaw the management of men's clothing, outdoor equipment, water-sports, and footwear departments in a 24,000 square foot store outside of NYC. I was responsible for the business success, execution, and staff development within all areas of my departments, and I strove to be a leading example of our outdoor heritage through my active lifestyle. I was selected as one of four competitive applicants to participate in the pilot program where over the course of 12 weeks I gained exposure and knowledge in all aspects of a retail location revolving around management skills and department ownership. During the program, I took part in a store walkthrough presentation for the CEO, and my final project was presented to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Retail.
