      College-preparatory and values-based charter school in low income, ethnically diverse neighborhood of Chicago where over 90% of the school population qualifies for free and reduced-price lunch program, 75% of students are Black, and 23% are Latinx/e. - Participated on a teacher leadership team K-8 which includes coaching two teachers through direct observations and feedback meetings and I designed professional development sessions for our teachers once a month focusing on math instruction, three focusing on data analytics, two on classroom management/culture, and three focusing on meeting the needs of all learners.- Participated on a network academic planning team K-8, created 20 scope and sequences and long-term plans for the 2016/2017 school year and designed 8 interim assessments to be used across our network.- Developed, planned and executed lessons to a Kindergarten through Fifth Grade direct instruction classroom differentiated by grade level aligned to the common core standards.- Differentiated instruction to meet student’s individual IEP goals and specific learning styles within the classroom allowing students to make 1.94 years of growth in math for the 2016/2017 school year.- Assisted and provided feedback to general education teachers in providing accommodations and modifications within their classroom in order to reach all students through classroom observations and feedback meetings.       Spectrum collaborates with public school special education departments to operate state-certified nonpublic agencies and provide the related services necessary to serve children and young adults with special needs that meets the needs of their individualized education programs (IEP) where over 82% of the district qualifies for free and reduced lunch, 40.1% students are Black, 57.4% Latinx/e, and 27.45% were English Language Learners.- Expanded our program from 1 master contract to 3 master contracts; 3 campuses to 25 campuses; 9 classrooms to 15 classrooms with an additional 1:1 support model within 5 months of the role- Supervise a team of 160+ full-time employees - Oversee and manages the compliance of three master contracts for our company with our district of partner- Oversee programming across 25+ school campuses throughout Inglewood Unified School District- Create weekly, monthly and yearly key performance indicator (KPI) goals for our agency and monitor and support employee productivity towards the goals- Created an agency coaching model to ensure fidelity of behavior interventions across all district classrooms in which we serve- Increased employee culture, as evident through raising our Net Promoter Score +64 points within five months time- Maintain an average employee retention rate of 92% for our agency- Increased students moving towards a lesser restrictive behavior intervention plan by 36% across all students of Inglewood in which we serve Show less - Coached 9 teachers; within 7 months of coaching, based on our company’s performance standards, 3 teachers who started on tier 1 grew to tier 3 (highest performance standard), 3 teachers maintained tier 3 (highest performance standard), and 2 teachers who started at tier 1 grew to tier 2 (mid-level performance standard).- Nominated for a network Impact Award based on improvements and new developments made within the first two months of employment. - Developed long-term instructional plans for teachers differentiated to fit mild-severe disabilities across preschool (ages 3-5) all the way to transition classrooms (ages 18-22).- Designed and implemented short-term and long-term training plans for teachers and support staff in areas of assessment, curriculum, and planning.- Piloting a supplemental curriculum in three classrooms in order to bring data back to our regional team of the effectiveness of the programming along with designed and led trainings for regional administrators. - Created a College & Career Center on our high school campus including resources and information from over 80+ colleges or universities. - Promoted to Director to increase span of impact and grow our service platform to additional school sites.       - Oversee special education & section 504 programs, mental health & wellness, college & career counseling, family & community engagement, community school’s strategy, and multi-tiered systems of support for over 2,500 students across 7 Charter School locations.- Manage a team of 50+ employees and responsible for overseeing integrated workstreams, leading change management strategic planning teams, and monitoring network-wide KPI’s for the student services team.- Designed and implemented a 24/7 crisis monitoring process to respond to students at risk for suicide or self-harm behaviors where our protocols are differentiated to include responses for both the on-site and remote learning environments.- Started a state-wide consortium for over 65 charter schools who received a Community Schools Planning Grant and navigated the support of external stakeholders to co-lead the group and planning efforts.
