  In may(2016), a month after completing my degree, I was hired as a junior software developer at BIONIC (see previous job). I am now a direct member of the front-end development team, working on the companies custom software. When i joined BIONIC was going through another transition, which meant close to a full re-build of the system, from front to back. In terms of my work this meant moving from Angular 1x and ecmaScript5 , to es6, and component approach to prepare for angular2. I am currently working closely with an experienced developer and designing and developing designs and structure for the new system. working with experienced developers on this software has given me a great experience within development, while the nature of the company integrates all staff into business ideas, meaning working with developers, support and management on a daily basis. Show less I started as an intern for BIONIC in may 2015, shortly after completion of 3rd year of my degree. At the time I started Bionic was a promising startup, growing from a small out-sourced team, to a larger in-house team. The software was being converted to AngularJS, as well as growing with customer demands. My role here was to work closely with the product owner and development team to create proof-of-concepts for new features. As this was my first job in the IT sector it was a great place to start and gain experience, not only for development skills, but business and communication skills.I continued to work one day a week during my final year, working on similar features.
