      I managed all of 100 Resilient Cities' digital work in order to reach a broad, connected online audience, communicate the importance of our work to build a global resilience movement at the city level, and highlight our work, lessons, and successes. It was thrilling.My responsibilities included: • Planning and execution of digital communications strategy to increase influence, drive uptake of our language and perspective, elevate our C-team as global thought leaders in the urban and resilience spheres, and generate engagement with a wide range of stakeholders; • Plan and execute blog content strategies and campaigns; • Day-to-day management of our website, as well as working to meet long-term website performance goals; • Managing the strategy, creation of copy, execution of social media strategies including the use of a range of paid media, social media convenings, and optimization; • Managing email campaigns, including drafting emails, list segmentation, and user acquisition; • Building up a library of images and videos, and managing their capture, creation, and use;• Managing key visual brand assets and ensuring consistency of use;• Coordinating with representatives of cities across the globe to support the digital communications efforts.Achievements include: • Launched 100 Resilient Cities' Twitter and Facebook accounts in July of 2014. As the Executive Director, I am responsible for directing our fundraising efforts - donations cover our entire yearly budget - for program design and execution, community outreach, and for managing our team. Our services include English lessons for locals, subject tutoring for elementary and highschool students, supplemental courses for all ages including computer literacy, art, and dance, and additional community support. In addition, we offer all the services of a traditional library, including book lending and free use of computers with Internet access.I am proud to have seen our programs impact dozens of new visitors, children, teens, and adults, since I began, and am eager to continue to find powerful ways to connect those in need with the resources to empower their success in our small community.
