  Having completed my bachelor degree with outstanding results, I was successfully employed as a junior engineer. I worked in the soil laboratory and conducted regular required tests on given samples. I filled the bore log sheets and helped in writing geotechnical reports and identified subsurface information such as soil type profile, groundwater table, and bedrock location. I also performed some in-situ tests such as slump and soil density tests.

  "Narges" is a 12 story building comprised of 7 underground stories, a parking lot and 146 business units. This building is constructed on a 4,224 square meter field with a total construction area of 30,786 square meter. The building consists of three attached cylinder shape frames with concrete and shear walls.I was responsible for setting out the roof and column levels using Theodolite and Dummy. I became familiar with Total Station and Its various application in construction. Learned about preparing formworks. Steel and wooden formworks in different shapes were used for columns, slabs and sheer walls. Responsible for estimating materials, required time and cost for different elements formworks. Became familiar with concrete curing tests and a required casting time before erecting formworks. In addition,​ I gained experience in performing 3D panels."Narges" Project was a great opportunity for me to enrich my knowledge about Concrete frame buildings, surveying and Project management and planning. Also, I learned about construction processes, different machines and many more skills which, in my mind are very important for any civil engineer to know. Show less
