  Sustainable sanitation is an issue in rural and urban India. My role involved researching and designing viable business models to promote sustainable sanitation across India with a parallel focus on women and transgender empowerment. Innovative technologies from across the world were identified and feasibility studies were conducted to ensure suitability in the Indian scenario. I led a team of 10 for the on-ground implementation of sanitation projects across India. The main responsibilities were:- Manage projects in water and sanitation with special emphasis on sustainability, climate resilience, gender equality and access to health- Design business models combining sanitation and livelihood. Innovated a unique business model called 'Micro-Enterprises for Sanitation and Health' which combined sanitation with women empowerment and health.- Engage in wide networking to identify relevant stakeholders to increase the impact and outreach of the project in the particular geography.- Manage a remote team of 12, prioritize and delegate tasks, monitor progress, prepare MIS reports, control costs to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of project deliverables.- Planning, producing, writing and delivering proposals, reports and presentations to corporate clients, CSR agencies, international organisations, NGOs and other stakeholders within a complex business environment within customer defined time frames. \item Explore sanitation economy in India and promote sales of sustainable sanitation technologies like on-site sustainable sewage treatment systems, e-toilets and sanitation livelihood models.- Track, monitor, and improve project implementation techniques using software and involve in detecting strategic issues in project implementation and investigating ways to resolve them,.- Conduct market research, lead generation through e-mails, social media and formulating market outreach strategies. The suitability of the technology to the Indian scenario was studied. My role also involved lead generation as well as writing business proposals.
