Appointed to re-establish management trust and connection. At start it also became clear the Cost Of Non Quality was unacceptably high. Within 6 weeks after appointment, Philip Morris International’s contemplated decision was communicated, to close the Bergen op Zoom factory.* Generated stable production volume in period from April to September (after closure announcement) by clear communication and managing conflict of interest.* Ensured smooth exit process while keeping performance levels up on all aspects Show less Led the area of processing of raw tobacco of 250 people, with 7 direct reports and budget responsibility of Euro 35 miliion, producing 100% of the factory tobacco volume.
