Responsible for 11 direct reports in a newly designed organizational model scheduled for completion by 07/17. Plans and executes all corporate level projects requiring Branch services. Responsible for development of individual training plans for a very diverse group of personnel requiring advance skill sets i each respective area of responsibility. Aligns budget requirements with fiscal needs and submits for approval, and builds out year appropriation requirements (five year) in support of campus operation. Oversee contract development and procurement required for all campus operations, Dining Facility, Lodging, Security, Facilities upgrades and maintenance. Responsible for developing policy and processes associated with a Revolving Fund as approved by congress (Federal authorization to charge for use) in order to compensate for costs of operation of a Federal facility (very unique within the Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Lead representative in the development of the organizations Master Planning (MP) requirements, collaborating with the Army Corp of Engineers and other external/internal partners. The MP will establish the Campus development strategy aligning with the organizations Strategic Plan (SP) through the out years. The MP will account for infrastructure and logistics while the SP will account for budget and personnel needed to support future operations as aligned with CBP's training, development and leadership strategy. In my spare time I performa collateral duty working with the Veterans Administration and the Wounded Warrior Program (Walter Reed Medical Hospital DOD). I assist Veterans and active duty Military with internships, training and jobs. Show less
