About me

Amit enjoys solving some of the critical human resource legacies challenges by combing technology and innovative management practices. He played leading roles to turn around startups and legacy-based organizations into digital savvy, engaging employee-centric and learning organizations through his change and transformation initiatives to win accolades from Great Place to Work, India, and Asia's Best Organization to Work by World HRD Congress. Before building his own company, he spent almost 15 years in functional and leadership roles for IT, ITES, Manufacturing, and Healthcare industries. His area of expertise includes HR Strategy & Balance Scorecard, Change Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Talent Management. After losing the opportunity to work for his dream job from campus due to the recession, he started his first entrepreneurial journey to set up his finishing school for engineering graduates to make them future-ready for the IT industry. His startup failed in the first six months due to operational challenges. He began his employment career in HR with IT & ITES organizations like ESSPL and STI. Later, he moved to the Manufacturing and Healthcare domain to set up their HR functions and the team from scratch for companies like Orient Cement (a part of CK Birla group) and Denty's (a retail chain of multi-specialty dental clinics). Amit became the Head of HR for a startup company Denty's (now acquired by Clove Dental - largest chain of Dental clinics in India), was instrumental in growing the organization from a setup of 7 to almost 50+ retail clinics after raising funds from Helion Venture within one year. He later moved to HIL (a part of CK Birla group) to Head their Corporate role in PMS, OD, and Talent Management. During his last tenure, he moved into their newest business, Polymer - Pipes & Putty (a startup within a 75 years old company) Head HR. His entrepreneurial drive helped him to build high performing team, to compete with other market-leading players. In a short span of 18 months, he contributed to growing the business three times and ever lowest attrition along with their other leadership team. Amit has been working closely with MD & CEOs of large conglomerates and serial entrepreneurs and Founders while incubating his startup idea. His startup is building an AI-powered SaaS platform that enables organizations to scale coaching and build sustainable coaching culture to foster personalized leadership development of the employees.
