  A work experience year was part of my university course and they had strong links with Chateau Elan so it was the obvious choice for a year placement to the US. There was space for four of us so myself and three friends shared an apartment, worked and travelled together in what was one of the best experiences in my life. The work was enjoyable, the people were great and overall my time over there was invaluable.

  Career Break

  After finishing university for the second time I decided to take some time off before going straight back in to the workplace. I hadn't originally planned to take as much time off as I did but that's how it worked out. I was fortunate enough to win some money playing online poker which allowed me to spend some time travelling Europe and the US. I really enjoyed this period and was very lucky to be able to do it at a time I had no commitments.
