In this role I was responsible for the labs testing environmental samples, bacterial culture performance, product sterility, gas chromatography, and flow cytometry. Through six sigma processes, I lowered lab testing errors from 8% to 4% and decreased queue time for results. Responsible for testing cell cultures, enzymes, and natural colors. Testing methods included ELISA, aseptic technique, and analytical chemistry. Achieved proficiency in LIMS and SAP software and developed a testing technique for detecting E. coli 0157:H7.
