      Compiled an HIV Life Skills manual for use in formal and informal schools, and facilitated training workshops on its use for 80 Swazi teachers, guidance counselors, and Peace Corps volunteers. Organized and taught a series of mini-workshops on HIV for over 500 residents.

      Reviewed and redesigned Health Alliance International’s health services data collection and storage system to reduce errors in data entry and improve automated output of monthly, quarterly, and annual indicators. Designed, implemented, and analyzed the results of a community survey in Timor-Leste as a final evaluation for USAID Child Survival and Health Grants Program. Results were submitted to USAID and the Ministry of Health Timor-Leste, and presented at the 18th Annual GHEC Conference and 7th Annual Western Regional International Health Conference, April 3-5, 2009 in Seattle, WA.

Liga Inan sends SMS messages to pregnant women, encouraging healthy behaviors during pregnancy, and facilitating stronger communication between women and midwives.
