      Provide advice to clients on project management, environmental, resource management, strategic planning, landscape design, heritage garden restoration and restoration and remediation of natural areas. I have been an accredited planning hearings commissioner and still provide facilitation, community mediation services (e.g. fencing, access, trees, environmental issues). Part of my role in the resource management context is preparing applications for resource consent, providing evidence at hearings, commenting on reports and writing submissions and preparing assessments. I also review KPIs, prepare State of Environment reports and otherwise write and edit documents requiring technical and interpretative skills. Other skillsets and experience relate to landscape and specialist garden restoration skills and experience, also biodiversity/biosecurity matters and reserves management planning.I have also worked on local government matters ranging from preparing amalgamation proposals to long term plans and asset management documentation .       I coordinated the District Plan review and subsequent plan changes in the period prior to the amalgamation with Auckland. I also had input into regional spatial planning, helped resolve over 40 appeals on the Plan and had input into the then district economic strategy. This was a transition period prior to the District's restructuring and division between three successor councils. My role was also to ensure a smooth planning legacy occurred and the staff transferred to successor organisations.
