  I’ve been doing research on the cutting-edge technologies including functional programming, cloud-based solutions, and big data analysis. I also pioneer the agile project management to produce IT product which optimizes Lenovo business process and improves productivity. The projects I’ve been leading are1. CAT, Cost Analysis Tool (Jan 2015 – Now). CAT is an on-premises project that aims to pioneer the new technologies and agile methodology to fast develop and deploy the IT product. The project serves the business objectives which are• To ensure the data integrity for cost and specification between the sales and product teams.• To establish the closed management loop so the data is flowing and covering the whole 4P processes plus planning (5P). • To simulate the BMC cost and rebates for Lenovo products sold worldwide.• To offer a means to do price and margin assessment for Lenovo products sold worldwide.• To predict the cost trend from historical cost.• To visually present the cost reports.My responsibilities as the leader of the project are• To explore new technologies and evaluate the pros and cons. The project finally brings Clojure/ClojureScript, F#, MongoDB and other new technologies to Lenovo.• To design the business and technical solution to guarantee the success of the project. • To integrate the project in a heterogeneous environment. • To practice the agile project management methodology.• To pioneer the DevOps mode.CBT, Consumer Business Tool (Jan 2014 – Jan 2015). Show less IT Infrastructure Manager, LenovoI led a team to ensure that the Client Computing Service is operated smoothly, the roadmap is defined and implemented. Three divisions of the team (Mobility Division, Desktop Division, and Communication Division) facilitated the new technologies including private/public cloud, MDM, and desktop virtualization to provide an easy yet productive working environment for Lenovo employees. The accomplishments of the project are• Standardized the Lenovo employees’ workstation OS and bundled application by developing the Windows OS deployment image.• Automated the Windows OS deployment and reduced the deployment duration from 4 hours to 1.5 hour.• Improved the user experience by employing the network OS deployment in a self-service style.• Upgraded the Windows XP to Windows 7 Enterprise to 20,000+ workstations distributed worldwide.IT Service Catalog. The project defines the service catalogue, links the service and charge model, and publishes the service by creating a universal IT service provisioning platform. The achievements are• Standardized the service SLA and its corresponding charge workflows.• Provided a service catalog portal which guides the Lenovo employees to access the IT services. My main working scope includes,• To design the infrastructure solutions to make sure the network, server and storage is optimized to support the Lenovo IT construction. • To evaluate the new technologies.• To plan the IT infrastructure roadmap.• To lead the ECM (Enterprise Content Management) team to guarantee the Lenovo internal documents could be universally accessed and shared.
