  Being interested in both design as well as philosophy (and other social sciences), the internship at The School of Life Berlin for three months was perfect for me. Having refined my skills and gained experience, I continued to work there as a freelance Digital & Print Designer and Photographer until my departure for Africa.

  Photography Assistant in the Greater Kruger, South Africa

  When African Impact's Photography Manager Sam Cox offered me the Assistant position at the project that I loved so much, I said yes in a glimpse! Having been there for half a year, my tasks involved teaching participants from all over the world about different aspects of photography - both technical as well as creative. Living in a lodge near the small town of Hoedspruit, we have many great game reserves right at our doorstep. On safaris, I will give further explanations during sightings and operate the spotlight during the night. Every two weeks we go camping in a Big 5 reserve that is open to the Kruger National Park. Organizing and managing these trips was also part of my job. Besides the on-project tasks, I took on side-projects as well, like making videos for the location or help organize events at our lodge.   Back in Germany, I'm happy to continue my work at The School of Life in Berlin. My tasks include B2B marketing, graphic design, managing the LinkedIn page and video production.Being part of the strategy team, I'm also proud to work on different new formats and develop monetizable and sustainable sources of income in times where we had to move almost everything online.
