      IT Support Analyst

During the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics event, I worked as an IT Technical Support Analyst, aiming to maintain the full functioning of the MPC (Media Press Center) infrastructure such as desktops, laptops, printers and network in general, for all journalists who stayed there to have the best possible work experience. Without a doubt, it was a unique and rewarding opportunity, as I was able to meet people from literally all over the world and practice my English even more. Activities: - Communication always in English, with journalists and users from all over the world - Support to users and journalists - Assembly of workstations - Organization and spreadsheet of IT equipment in our stock, for accurate and effective control in the case of any eventual replacement (Printers, Desktops, Laptops and peripherals in general) - Initial troubleshooting in several software / hardware problems - In some days, I work on a 12x24 scale to keep the operation 100% stable and up and running (07:00 - 17:00: 00 OR 17:00 - 07:00) - Help in designing and layout some of the journalists' rooms (from an IT point of view) - Always proposing improvements and insights for a better performance of IT in this project Show less

      IT Trainee

I had the honor of working in a multinational Chemical Industry, in the IT department. As it is a multinational, once again English was very useful. It was in this experience where I guess I gained more experience, not only professionally but also personally, as I had exemplary people around me to serve as an example. I got a sense of how an industry works and how the IT sector behaves in a large composition, even the most "bureaucratic" parts. Activities: - Support users and company systems - Checking, collecting and sending all IT related bills to the financial sector (Digitronco, Data circuit, Mobile elephony, among others) - Analysis of the expenses with my manager and potential IT-related savings - Routine tape backup (monthly, weekly and yearly) - Exchange and installation of network equipment (Switches and routers) - Preserve the well-being of all company conference rooms (Television, Polycom devices, cable management), as well as adding new devices- Troubleshooting network problems - Troubleshooting very specific software, such as government or chemical instrument laboratory softwares- Sustaining the entire printer fleet, changing toners, solving basic printing problems or calling our outsourced team, specialized in this type of service - Assembly of a Dell workstation, with desktops, laptops, docking stations and peripherals in general - Basic maintenance on some notebooks such as battery replacement, for example - Creation of guides and tutorials for end users (Enrollment Guide in AirWatch, for example) - Delivery of corporate cell phones and help in their initial configuration (tunnel, content locker, Boxer) - Help in solving problems in chemical instrument machines (with due support from laboratory technicians) - Support to several areas of the factory, where I would need to place an PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as blending, production room - Formatting and preparing Windows 10 machines Show less

My obligations have basically remained the same as when I was an intern, but my sense of responsibility has greatly increased and new demands were coming!Activities:- I am now a member of a global IT group called Deskside Support, where I represent Brazil (Deskside Support Brasil) and have weekly meetings via Microsoft Teams with other teammates around the world, to discuss future IT projects and improvements.- I had the great experience and honor of “leading” and passing on knowledge to an IT intern, who helped me in the daily activities of the IT department.- I installed a NAS (Network Attached Storage) in our Data Center and became more and more comfortable with understanding and dealing with network equipment. I also changed some Cisco switches.- As time passed and experience increased, system and hardware issues began to be resolved faster, as I had seen before.- I started to help my manager more actively with some projects such as the Mobile Global plan, analysis of expenses with telephony accounts, preparation of global documents for the company (more focused on mobile)- I had my first experience working in a home office, using a company notebook. I confess that I adapted very well and managed my time with mastery.- As I am now part of a global team, I have more contact with people from other IT areas (Network, Desktop Engineering, Supply, End User Experience, Applications, RPA, among others)- Server administration such as File Server / Print Server and Backup Server (Veeam)- User administration using Active Directory, resetting passwords and unlocking accounts Show less
