    • Satisfactory Screenprinting & Design

      Sept 2013 - Jul 2017
      Sales Director

Satisfactory Screenprinting and Design is a graphic design and screenprinting shop in Athens, Georgia. For four years I managed 300+ client relationships, facilitating project development and liaising conversations among production, graphic designers and accounts receivable. I guided clients through product development, from selecting materials to art direction to creating working timelines. Since every project was custom-designed, our pricing had an enormous range. I was tasked with developing striking products while maintaining sustainable high profit margins. I enjoyed cultivating symbiotic relationships between Satisfactory and the client, as long-term relationships were a top priority. I became adept in pairing striking imagery and text that represented the integrity of my clients' work and could be efficiently produced. Clients included Athens, Georgia and Atlanta luminaries such as REM, of Montreal, Drive By Truckers, Wuxtry Records, 5 & 10 and other Hugh Acheson restaurants and University of Georgia organizations. I loved working with communication and new media start ups like MailChimp and bit.ly, as well as community linch pins like farmer's markets and community centers. I balanced smaller projects with quick turn-arounds, like backyard family reunion tshirt orders, with year-round project development for music festivals, road races and annual business and nonprofit summits. Starting as the company's sole sales person, I eventually built and trained an intimate sales team. During my time at Satisfactory, our profits increased by 45% and our staff almost doubled. • Magnolia Fund: Southerners for Reproductive Equity

      Jan 2015 - now
      Board Chair

Magnolia Fund is an abortion fund and practical support network working to eliminate barriers to reproductive freedom and support Southerners in building families, communities and collective power on their own terms. We distribute funding and resources to Southerners seeking abortions and other reproductive healthcare services, as well as identify and combat other logistical and cultural barriers to reproductive freedom (such as transportation, childcare, education, and stigma). For the past three years, I have led efforts to identify and cultivate a broad donor base, increasing our fundraising revenue and client funding by more than 50%. I developed digital fundraising campaigns, designed accompanying promotional merchandise, curated and hosted an array of events and helped cultivate intimate spaces for solidarity and power-building in my community.Magnolia Fund is a member fund of the National Network of Abortion Funds, and a participant in the Southern Funds Cohort. I have worked with organizers from funds across the Southeast to trade and refine best practices and strategies across our dynamic region during our biannual convenings, virtually throughout the year and spoken with other Southern fund leaders on a panel at NNAF's annual Summit to share the power of regional synergy with funds across the United States.Regular responsibilities also include week-long shifts managing our hotline, distributing pledged funds to clinics, intra-network communications, co-facilitating board meetings, producing digital content to maintain intimate relationships with donors, stakeholders, clients and community members.I have also written about our work and the climate of reproductive healthcare access for local papers and collaborated with other funds and leaders across our network to share our combined experiences on national platforms (see links below).
