  Responsible for the design, development and qualification of microwave processor and RF amplifier systems for use within industrial, scientific and defence applications. Produced system designs for localised 3-phase distribution and water cooling systems as well as building prototype electronic circuits using through-hole and surface mount soldering.I was the Lead Engineer for two major R&D projects, a High power IOT amplifier system for a scientific application and a microwave processor system for the mining industry working closely with the University of Nottingham. Within this role I organised the day-to-day build of the prototypes and managed the on-site contractors and co-ordinated the safe operation of each system during commissioning. Show less

  Lead Electrical Engineer for the development of motion and auxiliary C&I systems for semi-automated welding machines for use within industrial applications. I coordinated the implementation and was subsequently responsible for managing the risk assessments of all new machine designs inline with the machinery directive. I organised and liased with global customers to capture machine requirements and completed onsite commissioning and handover of finished machines, including one-to-one training.
