       Upstream Field Development Coordination: Oversaw the commercial work-stream for upstream field development, crude oil production, transportation, and exports. Sustainability and Carbon Reduction Initiatives: Led the development and implementation of a gas monetization framework aimed at eliminating routine gas flaring, reducing carbon emissions for environmental sustainability. Oil Mining Lease (OML) 26 JV Gas Development: Commercial Lead for OML 26 JV gas development in onshore Nigeria. Responsibilities include guiding the maturation process of gas development options, evaluating gas export alternatives, structuring project financing, assessing potential gas offtakers, and managing stakeholder relations. Resource Development Oversight: Managing commercial activities for the upstream development of both associated and non-associated gas resources, driving efficiency and value creation. Pioneering Commercial Department Setup at FHN: Established a commercial department at First Hydrocarbon Nigeria Company Limited (FHN), collaborating with functional teams at corporate and JV levels to identify and mature value-accretive opportunities. Show less  Managed contractual disputes as a result of the business impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on OML 26 business engagements and successfully maintained the company’s reputation, business relations, value maturation and delivered cost savings in excess of 40% of budget. Appointed Legal and Commercial Lead for the OML 26 joint venture and coordinated the operations, technical, engineering, supply chain, human resources, finance and HSSE functions, leading to an increase in crude oil production and offtake output under safe and environmentally friendly conditions. Advised business executives and governance leaders at corporate and JV levels on business-related considerations and decisions on oil and gas production, transportation, and offtake.  Successfully led commercial and legal negotiations and implementation of a binding Global Memorandum of Understanding with oil and gas producing Host Communities - onshore Niger Delta, and the Government of Delta State (Host State Government) for the OML 26 JV operations. Successfully recovered in excess of 40% of financial exposures utilising effective negotiation, dispute management, contract drafting and innovative legal engineering, resulting in the continuation of business and the successful drilling and production of 4-additional new oil wells with a significant increment in crude oil production, even during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Exceeded business expectations and increased production output by 45% by providing an effective service to 300+ customers in a high-pressure environment where labour, contracting, and stakeholder concerns had previously resulted in down-time and reduced output.
