  - Clear consignments and shipments on behalf of importers.- Monitor the movement of consignments from port of loading to port of discharge with the shipping line and vessel consignment is on.- Raise and settle terminal charges at the terminal the shipment has been offloaded.- Follow up on duty payment by the importer to the necessary authorities.- Conduct examination and scrutiny of items or shipments contained in the container as stated on the bill of lading and the manufacturers packing list.- Responsible for port clearance of all agencies concerned in regards to the items as contained on the bill of lading.- supervise the loading of the container by trucks and the safe movement of such trucks to the importers warehouse or address of storage of the said consignment .
