Data Analyst for Ancillary Services (a department formed in April 2017) which manages and oversees the following divisions: Brock Card, Brock Recreation, Brock Sports, Campus Development Services, Campus Store, Conference and Event Services, Dining Services, Parking Services, and Residences. My duties included:• Complete financial analysis on Brock’s Dining Services using Excel and SAS• Utilized the OneCard database to extract data on Brock’s Dining Sales from Heartland’s autogenerated report system• Had the opportunity to analyze Lowenberger and Decew dining hall student transaction data to see how busy each dining hall is, and where students are coming from (i.e. Village, Earp, Decew, etc…). The goal of my analysis was to determine if either dining hall can sustain a newly built residence nearby. From my results, it was determined that the Decew dining hall was slightly less busy than Lowenberger, but neither could sustain a newly built residence on its own. This being said, I am happy that the university decided to go through with building the new residence near Decew, and as a bonus decided to add in a new dining hall for sustainability.
