      Oversaw Engineering and Program Management for all Ford business in Europe, Africa, and Middle East regions. Directed teams to ensure collaboration with core engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams through validation, manufacturing-readiness, pre-production, and launch of new Adaptive Steering Wheel products. Key Accomplishments:• Appointed on a two-year expat assignment at European HQ in Germany. • Established a customer-centric approach practiced at Takata North America. Interfaced with customers in the launch of new steering wheel and driver airbag technology, providing effective inquiry response, issue resolution, and support to ensure effective and accurate product use. Spearheaded a team of engineers through all facets of project lifecycle fro development to validation of automotive safety restraints including airbags, seat belts, and steering wheels, for Ford and Mazda vehicle programs. Implemented new technologies into production. Conducted on-site visits to production facilities in Mexico, Germany, and China to ensure manufacturing readiness. Identified and evaluated product test issues through root-cause analysis. Developed and implemented concepts for next generation curtain airbag technologies. Liaised with Takata’s North America and Europe Engineering teams to support GM’s Global Epsilon program. Key Accomplishment:• Designed curtain airbag concepts to General Motors, resulting in award of three programs
