      When I began as a manager in 2000, I organized an IT Service Desk for my department by developing processes, hiring additional staff, documenting work flows and ensuring timely and quality customer support.Led the ISD support division through the State's support consolidation effort. At some point in February I will be managing 8 staff statewide, and we are evolving into an IT Application Support Service Desk. I am rewriting processes and rethinking workflows to ensure that our department can work effectively in the centralized workstation support model and in our newly defined application support role.
