  Teach for Ghana is a not-for-profit organization that is developing collective leadership in classrooms and under-served communities, to ensure all children in Ghana have access to an excellent education and to help them fulfill their potentials.HIGHLIGHTS:•Taught Science (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) and Information Technology, managed and assessed four classes of 82 students in a low-income public school in Ghana, and established relationships with stakeholders, such as teachers and parents.•Led students towards academic and social success to bring them at par with their counterparts in well-resourced schools.•Successfully taught and prepared two classes of 34 students for Science final exams.94% of my students met their goal of passing their final Science exams with some of the best grades in all subjects coming from Science.• Collaboratively executed projects beyond the classroom: Led a team to prepare sponsorship proposals that secured the school funds. These funds were used to address the lack of basic infrastructure by providing dustless marker boards, sets of workstations for teachers, renovation and painting of a four-unit classroom block.Founded and managed a Boys Mentorship Club, grooming students in areas of leadership, self-management, and reproductive health.
