      As a buyer, I work with inventory management, root cause problem solving, procurement of parts for 5 different product lines and the tracking of supplier deliveries and also purchase price variance. I have been heavily involved in the implementation of lean within our plant and have worked very hard to make my value stream more efficient. As an intern, I did all of the daily tasks that a buyer must perform at Cobham. This includes procuring MRP parts as well as Kanban parts, Inventory Management, creating work orders, tracking supplier performance and working to decrease inventory and purchase price variance.
