  As part of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s senior strategic management team, I am responsible for delivery of the organisation’s vision, values and staff culture. With operational and HR responsibility for a team of staff based in offices across Suffolk, I oversee the operations, culture and people strategy for the business including talent growth, recruitment, onboarding and staff development. I have a passion for creating and developing a workplace culture that reflects the vision and aims of the business and values the input of our diverse range of staff, aiming to coach and inspire the team to deliver to the best of their ability. Show less As a senior manager at Suffolk Chamber of Commerce I manage teams based in Lowestoft, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. My remit includes the operational management of the following teams: marketing & communications, networking events, international trade and export documentation and Lowestoft Vision (Business Improvement District in Lowestoft). CIPD qualified, I manage HR issues for Suffolk Chamber including recruitment and retention as well as delivering appraisals and performance management. I provide operational management for a variety of Chamber-led projects, including Employer Training Incentive Pilot and TechEast, and have provided support for New Anglia Growth Hub and our supply chain with EDF. In 2016 I led on the redevelopment of the Suffolk Chamber website, ensuring it is more modern, interactive and easy-to-use, and automatically connects with our CRM and Sage. Since its affiliation with Suffolk Chamber in 2010, I have led the development of the Suffolk Business Women, which now has over 1,400 members and was awarded runner-up for the East of England Business Champions in 2014 & 2015 in the category of Best Networking Group.I sit on the Board of Suffolk Business Women and various Suffolk Chamber town boards, and regularly represent Suffolk Chamber at senior level meetings and conferences.
